No phone discovery
Your phone number is not a search key and is not used to recommend people to you.
Ourside is designed to keep identity, photos, location and conversations under the member's control. Safety is not a page you visit once; it is part of how the product works.
Here are the controls that shape the experience and give members more say over what they share.
Your phone number is not a search key and is not used to recommend people to you.
Decide whether your profile is discoverable and which details can be shown.
Private photos can use a server-generated blurred version until the reveal condition is met.
Block or report profiles and unmatch from conversations whenever you need to.
Your preferences are not a promise to anyone else. If you want to become less visible, change your discovery settings. If a conversation no longer feels right, unmatch or block.
Turn discoverability off when you want a break from being shown to new people.
Remove a profile from your experience when you do not want further interaction.
End a match and conversation without needing to continue explaining yourself.
Send a report when behavior violates the community expectations.
Do not share passwords, financial information, one-time codes or personal documents with someone simply because you matched. Move at a pace that feels comfortable, and use Ourside's controls when a conversation crosses a boundary.
If you need support, use the contact details in the footer or the support contact provided by Ourside.
